Alexander Technique Lesson Information

Lessons are for just under one hour.

The cost is $75.  A sliding scale is available.

Wear comfortable clothes (pants are preferable).

The Alexander Technique does not conflict with anything.

Directions to 70 Santa Paula, San Francisco

By Muni from downtown San Francisco,
Take the underground Market Street K, L, or M streetcar lines (Muni), and ride outbound beyond the Castro Street Station through the Twin Peaks Tunnel. The station at the other end of the Tunnel is West Portal. When you get off the streetcar and walk out to the front of the station, you turn left and walk a half block to Claremont. Turn right and walk up the hill (best on the far side of Claremont) to Portola. Cross Portola and turn left and walk up Portola to the second right, which is Santa Paula. Our house is number 70 Santa Paula, which is the 3rd house from the far end of the block on the right side. The number is on the garage and we have a picket fence.

By Car from the Easy Bay or Downtown
If you are driving in from the East Bay, drive to Market Street and take it towards Twin Peaks until it turns into Portola. Follow Portola over Twin Peaks and on the far side look for a pedestrian overpass. (the overpass will be at a street called Miraloma, do not take). You will be facing the Pacific Ocean at this time. Go under the overpass and take the next left (San Pablo), then the next right (Santa Monica), and then right again (Santa Paula). We are #70 the third house on the left.

By Car from the North
After you cross the Golden Gate Bridge head south to 19th Ave. Turn right onto Ulloa, go around the block by turning left on 20th and the left again on Vicenti. Stay on Vicenti all the way to Portola (one block beyond West Portal). Turn left onto Portola, and then take the 2nd right which is Santa Paula. We are the 3rd house from the far end on the right of the block.

By Car from the South
Traveling north on Highway 280 take the "19th. Avenue / Golden Gate Bridge" left fork of 280 into San Francisco. Get in the right lane. Continue straight onto Junipero Serra Boulevard until you reach Portola which will angle off to the right ahead of you. The 7th right turn will be Santa Paula. We are the 3rd house from the far end on the right of the block (70).

From North Marin, take the first Sausaltio Exit and bare left at the first light, go under the freeway and turn left onto Bridgeway at the 2nd. light. Go 1.4 miles and look for a bicycle shop on the right named "A Bicycle Odyssey" in a large wooden building with white trim. Turn on the street before the shop which is "Litho." The door to the office is in the same building as the bicycle shop in the middle of the building. Enter through the door on Litho Street marked "Old Central School Professional Offices." Once inside go upstairs to the large waiting room. My office is number 6.
